Austin Home Sales Area Information





South Austin – South Austin is a terrific area stretching from Lady Bird Lake To Buda and is highlighted by Auditorium Shores, SoCo (South Congress) District and Zilker Park.  Real Estate throughout South Austin is varied with many new homes and historic re-models.  Back to the top

East Austin – East Austin has experienced significant change and new or remodeled construction the last few years.  Marked by I35 on the west-most boundary and extending out past Highway 183-south.  Back to the top

West Austin – West Austin extends from Loop 360 to Highway 620 and includes a most of the property along Lake Austin.  Lake Austin is a man-made lake that carves its way through Austin and is a terrific place to enjoy swimming, boating and water-sports.  West Austin is often considered to extend west all the way to Lake Travis and the Spicewood or Lago Vista areas.  Back to the top

North Austin – North Austin has grown significantly the last several years and extends from 2222 to Cedar Park.  The arboretum and Domain shopping area are two highly popular areas of interest.  Cedar Park, Round Rock and Leander are often considered a part of North Austin.  Back to the top

Round Rock – Round Rock is north of Austin and home to the Round Rock Express; the AA baseball affiliate of the Texas Rangers.  There are a number of beautifully developed communities including golf courses and neighborhood activity centers.  Back to the top

Cedar Park – Cedar Park continues to grow rapidly and has many new schools, golf and recreation areas.  Cedar Park is conveniently located to many of Austin’s lakes and sporting venues and with the expansion of the toll-way system has made commuting into Austin very easy.  Back to the top

Pflugerville – Pflugerville sits in North Austin and is home of the Pflugerville Dragons.  Pflugerville sits near Round Rock and east of Cedar Park.  Pflugerville is nice quaint-town feel and great sporting venue area.  Back to the top

Tarrytown – Tarrytown is one of Austin’s jewels in Central Austin.  Tarrytown extends from Lake Austin up to 35th street and from Mopac to Laguna Gloria.  Over recent years many older homes have been remodeled, providing a wonderful mix of traditional homes with updated construction and finishes.  Back to the top

Clarksville – Clarksville is a great area in Central Austin nestled between Enfield and Downtown and has many traditionally architectured homes.  Clarksville is often considered one of Austin’s classic neighborhoods and provides convenient access to Lady Bird Lake.  Back to the top

Downtown – Austin’s Downtown area has seen significant growth the last few years.  Many new condominium developments and large-scale apartment complexes have added to the skyline.  Shopping, entertainment and nightlife have also grown to support the increase in Downtown residents.  Numerous businesses make downtown their home and 6th Street helps Austin lay-claim to being the “Live Music Capital of the World”.  Back to the top

Westlake – Westlake is the small municipality that sits in between Loop 360, Mopac and lady Bird Lake.  Westlake is home of the Eanes school district and has their own police and fire departments and enjoys a small-town feel while being in the center of Austin; just across from Zilker Park.  Back to the top

Lakeway – Lakeway is located west of Austin between 222 and Highway 71 along Highway 620.  Lakeway is home of the Lake Travis School District; World of Tennis facility and numerous golf courses including Yaupon.  Lakeway is home of many shopping areas as well as dining and the Lakeway Marina.
