Moving in:
Q - When do we have to turn in the inventory and condition form?
A - Within 48 hours after your move in. Otherwise, everything will be considered to be in a clean, safe, and good working condition. This form protects both you (the resident) and us (the owner). We will use it in determining what should and should not be considered your responsibility upon move-out. Back to the top
Q - How do I set up utilities/cable/gas?
A - See our helpful numbers section of the website. Call well ahead of time to set up all utilities as August is a very busy time of year and you do not want to be without service. Cable usually takes the longest to schedule service, so be sure not to procrastinate. Back to the top
Q - When should we set up utilities/cable/gas?
A - At least 3-4 weeks in advance to be sure that you will have no problems getting your service started. Back to the top
Moving Out:
Q - When do we get our deposit back?
A - Within 30 days after your move out. Back to the top
Q - Why do we have to leave our utilities on for several days after we move out?
A - The lease states that if we have to turn the utilities on after you move out to repair or clean anything caused by the renter, than we can charge you back for this. This is a way to protect you from additional charges. Back to the top
Q - What do we need to turn in when we move out?
A - All keys and any other access devices that you received upon move in. You also need to give us a receipt of the cleaning that was done. Finally, you need to submit a forwarding address where we can send your security deposit itemization and check. Back to the top
Q - How do I get my security deposit back?
A - Follow the move out instructions that we send you. Make sure that you leave the property in the condition that it was when you moved in. Back to the top
Q - Who will you send the deposit to?
A - When you move out, one of the items you will need to turn in is a forwarding address. We will send one check made payable to all of the residents. With this check, you will receive an itemized statement of all deductions. Back to the top
Q - What do I do if I want to dispute my security deposit?
A - If you want to dispute your security deposit, it needs to be submitted in writing to our office either by mail or email. HOWEVER, WE ARE VERY FAIR IN OUR SECURITY DEPOSIT RETURNS WHEN WE SEND THEM BACK.
