West Campus area houses close to 15,000 students. UT runs along Guadalupe St from MLK to 29th making it easy for students to walk, ride their bikes, or take frequent campus shuttles to their classes. This is a great option if you do not mind a short drive to the campus and downtown area or if you would like to live north and want to be closer to the hills that make Austin so unique and beautiful. Riverside area is located east off I-35 and is home to the largest absorption of undergrads around Austin. Riverside has 5 UT shuttles that run as quickly as every 7 minutes. Choosing to live here offers students great amenities and options as well as some of the best rental rates. Amenities include: roommate matching, individual leases, bills paid, as well as pools and workout facilities.
