Downtown is one of the fastest growing areas of Austin. The Arboretum is located off of Highway 360 and Loop 1 and features modern and newer apartments with great amenities at more affordable prices than Central Austin. This is a great option if you do not mind a short drive to the campus and downtown area or if you would like to live north and want to be closer to the hills that make Austin so unique and beautiful. Riverside area is located east off I-35 and is home to the largest absorption of undergrads around Austin. Riverside has 5 UT shuttles that run as quickly as every 7 minutes. Choosing to live here offers students great amenities and options as well as some of the best rental rates. Amenities include: roommate matching, individual leases, bills paid, as well as pools and workout facilities.
