David Kline - Originally from Columbia, SC, David moved to Austin to attend the University of Texas in the fall of 1999. David became a licensed real estate agent in the spring of 2002, and he founded the company as Davanjer Investments during the summer of 2002 before his senior year of college with the acquisition of a single family home in north campus. Throughout the next 3 years, David grew the company through a string of acquisitions in the student housing market around UT, while also becoming a licensed real estate Broker. From September 2007 through February 2009, David focused on the redevelopment and conversion of 2020 Apartments to 2020 Congress Condominiums. During this time, David oversaw all aspects of the project – underwriting, acquisition, general contracting, and marketing. It was his experience in this project that inspired David to offer Kline’s unique services to the third party market. David oversees all aspects of the company and looks forward to aggressive growth in the areas of acquisition and development, property management, and real estate brokerage.
Shannon L. Joe - Shannon grew up in the multifamily apartment industry; her family has a combined total of 89 years of experience in property management. Shannon is a third generation property manager; she grew up on site and through this she’s acquired a very strong background in property management.
Shannon holds several designation offered by the NAA, in 2002 she became a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), she went on to obtain her Certified Apartment Property Supervisor (CAPS) and lastly in 2007 she went on to obtain her Certified Apartment Maintenance Technician (CAMT) certification.
Shannon has been presented with several awards throughout her career for her hard work and dedication. She won Manager of the Year through the Austin Apartment Association in 2005 and went on to win the Texas Apartment Association Manager of the Year in 2006. Shannon has again been nominated this year for the prestigious Professional of the Year Award by the Austin Apartment Association.
In Shannon’s free time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and outdoor activities.
Corina Salazar - Corina has been an Austinite for 19 years and loves everything Austin has to offer; Live Music, Tex-Mex, and the Longhorns! In 2006, while studying Psychology and Business at The University of Texas, Corina began her career at Kline Properties and upon graduation, she began working full time as our Property Manager. Throughout her years at Kline Properties she has enjoyed interacting with our residents on a day to day basis and believes customer service is a key factor to a successful business. Corina looks forward to the new developments on the Kline horizon and meeting new resident faces along the way!
Corina is planning her 2010 winter wedding to her fiancé Brian. In their free time you can find them lakeside with their two Labradors, Homer and Vegas. Hook ‘em!
Jen Sublett - Jen is the newest member of the Kline team. She is new to the multi-family industry but has shown great interest and determination to learn as much as she can. Jen knew this was the career she wanted to be in after spending time in her own apartment management office. Jen won the Kline team over after coming over to help temporally for a couple of days with her dedication and strong work ethic. Jen continues to impress us daily with her strives to learn all of our procedures and policies. Jen has proven to have a very promising future in property management and we are very happy she decided to begin her adventure with Kline Properties.
In her spare time, Jen enjoys being active and spending time with her boyfriend, her dog, Sissy, and her new roommates.
Benny Pacheco - Benny moved to Austin over 19 years ago. For many years Benny worked with Gables Residential where he gained much of his experience in the multifamily housing industry. Benny has a highly decorated career, he has received many awards by previous employers for his hard work and dedication. After years of training and hands on experience Benny moved on to start a general contracting company in 2002 that specialized in student housing and turnkey operations. It was in 2002 that Benny began his business relationship with David Kline. Benny’s company oversaw the complete renovation of the 2020 S. Congress Condominiums community. Benny goes above and beyond for all of Kline’s residents to assure they are a satisfied customer. Benny is a loving single father, raising a son and a daughter on his own. He enjoys spending his free time with them, cooking and playing soccer.
Chrissie Larkin - Chrissie, a native New Yorker, arrived in Austin via San Francisco to pursue a career in real estate. Having spent over a decade as a middle school teacher in Brooklyn and northern California, Chrissie joined the Kline Properties team in early 2010. In her free time Chrissie enjoys yoga, reading, spending time with friends and being outdoors in beautiful Austin with her dog Sofie.
Cody Reyes - Cody joined Kline Properties in 2009 to lead the 2020 Congress Condominiums sales team. Cody has been a Licensed Realtor since 2003. Cody has Real Estate experience in Residential, Commercial, and Leasing.
Keely Rex - Keely joined Kline Properties in 2009. She brings 9 years Real Estate experience to the Kline community. Keely has years of experience working with buyers, sellers, tenants and investors. Real Estate is her passion and in her free time she enjoys spending time with her family outdoors in the beautiful Austin area.
